A psychoanalytic session is a certain period of time during which the analyzee says everything that comes to mind (the method of free association), and the analyst gives an interpretation of the meaning. The session lasts 50 minutes.

 

Psychoanalysis is not a means of treatment. It is a method of studying the unconscious, where treatment is an important but side effect.

Psychoanalysis is a long process. The process of immersion in the unconscious and its study follows certain patterns and cannot be artificially accelerated.
